Exploring International Early Childhood Research

For this week's blog post, I chose to explore ChildResearch.Net, a Japan-based child research web site. Obviously, websites from many different parts of the world, especially from Europe, have been my favorite, but it will be the first time I will have examined such a site. As with every site, there are the most up-to-date articles and papers on Child Health, Children, Pregnants, and Newborns effects of COVID-19. I have accessed some specific resources on Early Childhood Education and Care, early childhood advocacy. Although there are documents related to Asia and Japan, information is also very intense worldwide.

In the section entitled ECEC worldwide, reports on different geographies can found. Children's "Learning Attitudes to Learn," Reports and primary data from around the world are available.

Although I found the website's content full and dense, I saw that Asian countries do not have more information. Some shortcomings of research articles published in the paper, essay, and data section attract my attention. I felt that the lack of publisher, bibliography, and citations led me to the idea that there are no scientific based articles.

The research was taken from https://www.childresearch.net.

  2. Wow, that is disappointing that there was no scientific based articles, but I am not surprised that this site has updated information about how Covid-19 has effected young children. Thank you for sharing!
