My Research Journey

"When we treat children's play as seriously as it deserves, we are helping them feel the joy that's to be found in the creative spirit. It's the things we play with and the people who help us play that make a great difference in our lives."
                                                                                                                                               Fred rogers

Effective Programs and Practices in the Early childhood area have always been my passion. The reason why I changed the subject I announced in the discussion board is that I understood that I wanted to research the Child-Centered Curriculum. As a subheading of this topic, Child-Centered Curriculum, educational practices will be the main center of my simulation journey. I have advocated on this topic in my previous classes, but I believe there is still a lot to learn. Following my experience in education, I want to advocate for the construction of learning environments where a Child-Centered Curriculum. I believe that using an excellent game-based curriculum means realizing an educational environment where children love learning deeply, rely on their skills as learners, strengthen their social and emotional skills, develop deep relationships with their peers and teachers, and are excited to be at school as part of their community.

I started the research process by searching the Walden University Library for articles that would best present my assignment. Obviously, I can see that my Research Competence is an area I need to improve. I concluded that it is difficult to reach good scientific research. I am particularly worried that I will not be able to access reliability and evidence-based studies.

I would be very grateful to see other sources and information that my colleagues are willing to share in the comments.

  1. I commend your passion and dedication to the research topic you have chosen. I think it is great that you are advocating as well. I feel as educators, we have to be passionate as well as nurturing when it comes to the issues that affect our learners so much. It is my hope that I can use the new research skills I am acquiring in this course to be more of an advocate also, not only for the kids in my classroom but also for the community. If there is any way I can help with your research, please let me know. I look forward to learning and sharing with you further.

    Best of luck!

  2. I always wanted to know who do the research be hind child car curriculum because as a teacher sometimes I don't understand why they don't chose things that they think children would want to learn about.

  3. Child-centered curriculum can definitely create developmentally appropriate practices in the classroom where children can explore based on their development and having a curriculum that can be modified or advanced depending on the child.
