My Son's Birth Story
Pregnancy and birth are unique processes in a mother's life. There is no description of feelings and beauties experienced during pregnancy; indeed, to give birth is also very special. Pregnancy is a process and a perfect way to grow a living. Three years after I decided to be a mother, I got pregnant with my baby. I have had a healthy and beautiful pregnancy, but my baby has never settled in the birth canal, officially he was laid in my abdomen sideways in recent months. I made the necessary preparations to make natural childbirth, so I paid attention to my diet, I did regular sports, did not interrupt the controls. After the birth process started, I had severe pain for about 6 hours and waited for my baby to return to the essential position. As a result of the labor, the pain started, and the baby wasn't in the canal, then we decided on an emergency c-section with my doctor. I was awake with epidural anesthesia because I wanted to touch and see my baby after birth. My husband and mother waited outside because no spouses were taken to the operating room. Seeing my son's face, hearing his first cry, and the doctor helped us to hug was incredibly beautiful moments. I still feel his warmth on my face.
Decades ago, my parents were born with the help of a midwife in their house. They went to the doctor when there was an abnormality. Usually make the necessary scans before a planned pregnancy, and mothers enrolled in the health center in Turkey. A nurse follows each pregnant and records the information. Apart from this, there are regular visits to the doctor every month, it is straightforward to reach the doctor and modern medicine, and it is free in public hospitals. The government has made serious efforts to reduce maternal and child mortality and support natural birth.
This was nice to read. I think that hospitals have eliminated midwifes, but they are great to have and the cost is probably significantly cheaper. This was a nice birthing story.

He is so handsome! I'm glad you had a healthy baby. Reading your story made me simile because I know the love you felt hearing and seeing you baby for the first time.
ReplyDeleteI truly appreciate you sharing your birthing story and I truly have admiration for your ability to endure the pain in order to attempt to have a natural birth. There were many of my friends who attempted the natural birth process, however wanted an epidural immediately when the pain began. I'm very happy to hear about the governments effort to reduce mortality rates.
